i had a lot of fun making this comic. just incase you somehow never saw the movies, the two locations shown are from the lord of the rings: the return of the king. i sorta just went off memory for both of them though, so they may not be just like the film. so i go to school in 6 days and i'm really excited. i got my roomate's name and email adress in the mail today, but i haven't emailed him yet. i'll probably be all, "hey, i'm jason, your new roomate. check out my comics!!!" or maybe i'll just say hello. i don't want to scare him away from me before we even meet. new mini: robber joke. current music: street wars/exotic foxholes the blood brothers

happy new year everyone! i spent new years eve at a party with all my good friends. we played some game where you have to guess the lyrics to an assortment of 80's songs, listened to a whole bunch of the who, watched the ball drop and then had pancakes in the morning. it was a good time. i just want to make note that i hate all you people that got guitar hero for christmas. it's your fault that i can't find it anywhere. i hope you're happy. new holiday greeting: happy new year! current music: people animal collective

i hope everyone that celebrated christmas yesterday had a great day! i got a bunch of movies and music, but the icing on the cake was the comfy new pajamas i got. i couldn't have asked for nicer presents. thanks go out to my mum and dad. my classy lady friend got me a great 'my name is earl' t-shirt, too. many thanks to her as well. blingmobile (from smackjeeves and our own forum) sent me a very spiffy piece of fan art for, in his own words, "Christmakwanzahannaukahthingy." in short, i <3 blingmobile.

OMG I HAVEN'T FINISHED HOLIDAY SHOPPING! today i'm going shopping for the last time before christmas... and i still have a bunch of people to buy gifts for. like my mum, my dad, travis, adam and the rest of the people i heart more than life. i'm going to do my best not to die in the shopping panic that i'm sure i'll be involved in. so about the comic: honestly? no clue. i originally was going to go completly old school and have susan give phillip a hoof from the goat he slaughtered way back in the day, but at the same time i wanted to make a bleeding cow heart. the punchline for the hoof wasn't as strong either. "it's a holiday hoof!" get it? holiday hoof? one last thing i thought i should share is the new live free or die hard trailer! i'm a huge die hard fan and i absolutely cant wait for this film to come out. i also love bruce willis. which is pretty obvious. anyway, "live free or die hard" comes out july 4th. july is going to be a good movie month. "live free or die hard" and "the simpsons movie." i'll most likely see both mutiple times. also "transformers" and "harry potter and the order of the phoenix" come out, but who cares? new mini: snowbank joke. current music: atlantis to interzone klaxons

late update. hooray! a few things to mention today. both are pretty exciting (for me especially, i guess). firstly, i finally got into college! i'll be starting sometime in early january. i'm really happy and sorta freaked out at the same time. don't worry though, i'll continue mecha soup. i'm sure soon enough, the comics will be my only escape from work :p seconding, friday is the one year anniversary of mecha soup! so that's pretty cool. then there wont be a comic for about a week because of christmas and the holidays. and after that, updates will depend on how my college schedule goes. i hope it doesn't interfere too much! that would make me sadder than a man cutting onions. lots and lots of tear jerking onions. new mini: hot dog stand joke. current music: everyday combat Lostprophets
