Arena Gizah Gets Updated To B3

- Added one-way doors to the first ramp (for time extent purposes).
- Added a larger basement area, instead of a straight shot.
- Added Sniper areas to each of the building’s towers.
Testing really helped get this map underway. When the map was quick, nobody ever stayed alive long enough to see the point rise. It was a blast to play, but the fun was over too quickly. The changes I’ve made to the most recent version of the map should help stop short battle times and hopefully contribute to the overall enjoyment of the map. Katy Perry Is Hot.



I’ll probably tell you before you read this, but I think the sniper towers should be completely open or at least more open. That way it’s not to hard to assail the sniper as other classes like soldier and demo.
My reason for making the sniper window open only on one side is so the Sniper doesn’t have 360 degrees of sight. The window is exactly the same size as the door below it and its very easy to rocket/sticky jump/spam into. And don’t forget that the Sniper first has to maneuver his way across the battlefield to get there.
Shane and I played a few rounds last night and whenever I was up there, he was able to get to me rather quick as any class. Since the ramps are out of the snipers immediate view range it’s easy to sneak by. Obviously more testing will show if it overpowers the Sniper, but I don’t think you’ll be able to get off more than a couple shots before people start looking for you.
